The following are scans of physical papers. They are reproductions of some creations of Stan Croydon, my friend Elizabeth's father. It is recommended you view them on a desktop computer. As pdf's, they are not very suitable for phones. On a computer you should be able to zoom in and scroll around as necessary. Pdf's are the best way to preserve documents' formatting and styles.
Imagine the work that went into these! We're all lazy now, typing away into computers that let us "word process" everything so easily. The typing here even justifies the text around the pictures! And the pictures in the long teacher story are wonderful. This incident the teacher stories describe must have made such a big impression on Stan!
This one is one page, kind of a cover letter or description of one or two of the items below. It features some drawings, unusual for a sort of preface or cover letter.
This is a typed (and marked up) story about a teacher, Mr. Perriwinkle, which is perhaps an anonymizing rename of the teacher in the story below it. I think the markup (in pencil) was maybe to indicate where some illustrations would go. This is possibly a rough draft for the story in the documents that follow it.
This is Stan's magnum opus. The incident it describes, and the teacher it's about, apparently really made an impression on him! There's a ton of detail of other kids' names, who was on what base in the game, etc. Really fun stuff!
There are two of these, because the scanner treated the pages as more yellow than they really are. I kind of like the yellow, though. The software can easily change it to black and white, so that's what the other one is.

This one is a wonderful color cartoon. Someone else did the artwork. It is possibly somewhat autobigraphical. I think it relates to the life of Stan as a commuting worker and husband. There's a black and white cover page in portrait orientation and then two pages of color comics in landscape.
I'm glad to be able to make these documents available in the current technological way. And I really enjoy Stan's writing and drawing!
